What this website collects, why, who else touches it, and how to have it deleted. In plain language, because nobody reads the other kind.

The short version
We collect what you type into one of our forms, and nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it or share it with anyone who is not helping us run the restaurant. There is no advertising tracking on this site.
What we collect, and only when you send it
Private event inquiry
Your name, email, phone number, the best time to call, the kind of event, roughly how many guests, the date and time you have in mind, a budget range, and anything else you tell us. We use it to work out whether we can host your event and to call you back about it.
Employment application
Your name, email, phone number, the best time to call, whether you want part time or full time, the position you are after, what you write about your experience, and your resume if you attach one. We use it to consider you for a job.
General message
Your name, email, phone number if you give one, the best time to call, the topic, and your message.
Newsletter
Your email address, and nothing else. We ask you to confirm by email before we add you, so nobody ends up on the list by accident or because somebody else typed their address in.
Where it goes
Form submissions arrive by email at info@guadalaharrysbarandgrill.com and are read by the owners. Newsletter signups are held in our email account at MailerLite.
Who else handles it
- Netlify hosts this website and receives the three contact forms before passing them to us by email.
- MailerLite stores newsletter subscribers and sends the emails. Their script runs on these pages in order to show the signup box.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces this site is set in.
Each of these is a company we pay to do a job, not somebody we hand your details to for their own use.
How long we keep it
Event inquiries and messages stay in the inbox as long as they are useful, which for an event is usually until well after the event has happened. Job applications are kept while the position is open and for a reasonable while after in case something else comes up. Newsletter subscribers stay until they unsubscribe.
Getting off the list, or getting your details removed
Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link in it, and it works immediately. If you would rather we deleted an inquiry, an application or your subscriber record altogether, email info@guadalaharrysbarandgrill.com and say so. We will do it and confirm.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. MailerLite's signup script may set one so it does not show you the same form twice. There is no advertising or social media tracking here.
Children
This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. The upstairs comedy room is 21 and up regardless.
Changes
If this changes we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
